Rinova, coordinator of international project Bridging the Gap, held the final conference of the project on Friday 5 November 2021 at 3Space International House, a creative hub for entrepreneurs in Brixton, London, UK.
The event gathered creative enterprise mentors and mentees based in London – 24 participants joined the event including representatives of project partnership and some of the mentors who piloted the Bridging the Gap tools and outputs in the UK in the last 3 years.
Partners had the chance to introduce the project results to the audience, followed by a Creative Enterprise Skills Discovery Workshop and some networking opportunities. Anna Ochmann, president of ARTeria Foundation, presented the result of intellectual output titled “UX COMPENDIUM”. The conference launched a publication, “The role of the Creative Mentor: A Reflective Review” by Liz Appleby, External Evaluator who invited participants to join a Creative Mentoring Exchange to continue the legacy of the project.
“Bridging the Gap – new mentoring methods for young creative entrepreneurs in Europe” is an international project which aims to work on brand new digital and innovative tools, supporting the development of mentoring in cultural and creative sectors, with partners from 6 countries of the European Union (Poland, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Slovakia and Greece). The tools may be useful for teachers and mentors of artistic professions, they also emphasise the development of entrepreneurial skills, essential for young artists entering the European market of the creative industry.
Foundation ARTeria uses the results of the project to develop our mentoring programmes.
