GrowthFundMe project partners met for the first time ‘live’ on 23-24 November 2023 in a transnational training meeting organised in Zupthen, the Netherlands. The event was hosted by Inova Aspire.
The meeting was a great opportunity to make personal contacts and discuss the project results under development. The first modules developed so far, the methodology and the training materials were presented, and the participants took part in a pilot testing training related to the development of entrepreneurial competences for those who will use the platform and materials developed within the project in the future. These were developed based on the ENTRECOMP Competence Framework in the form of three modules defined by the partnership as the most relevant in the context of the project objectives.
An extremely important part of the meeting was the presentation and discussion of a working version of the GrowthFundMe platform dedicated to supporting social entrepreneurship practitioners.
After summarising the training content, the next step was to discuss additional elements by which the platform will be developed. It was agreed to develop several relevant modules:
- Odisee: module 1 (Social Entrepreneurship) and module 2 (Pitching and Storytelling)
- Inova: module 3 (Entrepreneurship, resources and action orientation)
- Growfunding: modules 4 and 5 (Crowdfunding)
- ARTeria: module 6 (Audience development and stakeholder engagement)
- BICC: Module 7 (Finance for community-driven initiatives)
Workshops that will take place in the project partnership countries have also been tentatively planned, as well as the opening of a channel on YT for the dissemination of the project.
