Poets of Today – Voices of Tomorrow (POT-VOT) is a cooperation project of 5 project partners aims to bring poetry and contemporary poets closer to young people, teachers and local communities in all partner countries – Slovenia, Poland, Hungary, Serbia and Finland.
The main goal of the project is the development of new performative poetic forms. In each partners’ country the artistic team was established to develop the project methodology and create an artistic poetry-educational program.
The target groups are contemporary, established poets, high school teachers and high school students – to shed light on the importance of reading in school and the connection between performing arts and poetry.
The project will ensure gender equality and will have a strong focus on environmental sustainability. One of important results will be a draft of manifesto for decision makers for more poetry in schools.
