Anna Ochmann represented the ARTeria Foundation at the General Meeting of Members of Culture Action Europe. It was held online on June 10th, 2021. The General Meeting voted on the upcoming CAE strategy for the years of 2022-2024, CAE’s actions and the yearly financial
report of 2020. It chose new members of CAE’s Executive Committee and gave permission to CAE’s management to pursue the planned activities and the budget for 2021.
ARTeria has been a member of Culture Action Europe (CAE) since 2010. CAE was founded in 1994 under the name of European Forum for Arts and Heritage (EFAH) – Forum Européen pour les Arts et le Patrimoine (FEAP). EFAH-FEAP aimed to maintain a consistent dialogue and exchange between the cultural sector in Europe and the EU’s political ruling bodies. The association changed its name to Culture Action Europe in 2008, and the change was reflected in its mission and CAE’s policy. It adopted a new strategy, standing for access to art and participation in culture as a basic right of every citizen. Currently, CAE is the main European network associating cultural networks, organisations, artists, activists, scientists, and ruling bodies. It is the only intersectoral network accumulating all practices in culture, from performing arts, literature, visual arts, designs, and interartistic initiatives to community centres and activist groups.
