On January 30 and 31, 2023, pilot workshops of the Digi Kommune project were held in Gliwice. In a group of ten female artists and representatives of the creative sector, we tested the training materials created as part of the project. We analyzed the materials contained in the 5 training modules and some good practices. The analysis of this material sparked a discussion on the use of digital tools in the artists’ daily professional practice. Participants also shared their experiences in this area. We also did some practical exercises.
The discussed training materials were rated very highly by the participants of the pilot workshops. They indicated their great functionality. As advantages, they emphasized the diversity of the forms of communication used in the materials – videos, tutorials, presentations. The good practices presented, in the opinion of the participants, are a great inspiration for the development of their own business. The discussion also focused on the specifics of the situation in Poland – the economic crisis, rampant inflation and the ongoing war in Ukraine, a country with which Poland directly borders.
