From 16 to 18 March 2026, the Culture Station of the Municipal Centre for Culture and Arts (MOKiS) in Pyskowice hosted the kick-off meeting of the international Empowering Youth Talents project.
The meeting provided the first opportunity for project partners to meet in person and jointly plan the activities for the coming months. Participants discussed the project’s structure, objectives, target groups, work plan, and the expected results to be achieved throughout its implementation.
Particular attention was given to the project’s methodological framework and to identifying the competences that young people need to develop their talents and build careers in the cultural and creative sectors. Partners also explored the use of educational escape rooms and gamification as innovative learning approaches that can foster creativity, collaboration, entrepreneurship, and social competences.
The meeting also marked the beginning of work on the project’s first two key outputs: “Empowering Youth Creativity – The Talent Transformation Handbook” and “Escape Rooms for the Development of Competences in CCIs – Exploring the Intersection of Arts and Gamification Handbook.” These publications will provide practical guidance and educational resources for trainers, educators, and young people interested in developing their potential within the cultural and creative sectors.
The next consortium meeting was scheduled for December 2026 in Turin, where partners will continue developing the project’s outputs and planning the next stages of implementation.
