CREATIVE AGORA is an international project in which the ARTeria Foundation, together with partners from seven European countries (Sweden, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Poland, France and Croatia), worked on tools for informal, participatory art education for adults by supporting the professional development of ‘artists as educators’.
The project aimed to design and transfer knowledge and practice between the fields of social education, art and technology aiming to create a European ‘community of practice’ that fosters the transfer and exchange of best practices between artist educators on a transnational level.
One of the three modules developed as part of the project (alongside internationalisation and social impact) was the health and wellbeing of arts educators. The ARTeria Foundation produced three short films to support breathwork.
Breathing is the most natural physiological activity of humans. But do we know how we breathe? Are we aware of our breathing? Are we able to control our breath? And are we aware of the benefits of conscious breathing?
