On February 1 and 2, a pilot workshop of the Master the Act project was held in Gliwice. Practitioners, representatives of the arts education sector, (mainly theatre trainers, career counselors and representatives of organizations supporting the labor market), were invited to these workshops. Unfortunately, at the last moment, some of the participants, representatives of public employment services, had to cancel their participation for professional reasons. Therefore, the workshops were held in a more intimate group. However, this did not interfere with the intensive, two-day workshop.
Participants of the pilot workshops had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the materials contained on the e-learning platform before the classes. During the workshop itself, the methodological concept of MtA and selected training issues were presented. The first element highlighted by the participants was the extraordinary innovativeness of the idea of combining theater activities with the labor market. This type of concept, and developed on such a large scale, was not known to them in Poland. The variety of practical exercises that can be very useful in their daily professional work was indicated as a great advantage of the materials. Also the concept of introducing a new professional format – a creative employment mentor was very well received.
